NFTY CWR is excited to kick off the year at Congregation Rodef Sholom in San Rafael, CA. Join us for an incredible weekend of leadership learning. Walk away from this weekend with:
A Deep Sense of Community
Tangible Leadership Skills for You to take back to Your Temple Youth Groups!
Participate in social action learning and advocacy, while seeking to understand why we are called as Jews to take up leadership roles. Top the weekend off with some BIG FUN on Saturday night, and take home SWAG Sunday morning to help you cherish the weekend forever. Registration opens 8/27 at 8pm, and if you register or apply for a scholarship before Friday August 31st for some SECRET MERCH!
Early bird rate $260 (Closes Sept. 17th)
Regular Registration Rate $310 (Closes Oct. 8th)
We make every effort to ensure that no teen will miss an event due to financial restraints. We now have more scholarships available than ever before: $100 off for all first-time participants and first-come, first-serve scholarships for all other participants! The scholarship application may be found here!
We're incredibly grateful to the Congregation Rodef Sholom community for opening their doors and homes to our teens for the weekend!
What is a NFTY Homestay?
A homestay is a NFTY event wherein we call on congregational families of the hosting TYG (Temple youth group) and synagogue to house our participants for the retreat weekend. We ask each family to host between 3-10 teens for the weekend. The host families provide transportation to and from the hosting synagogue for programming, breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning, safe and clean space for teens to relax and sleep, like beds, couches, and carpeted floors. Teens are expected to come with sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (just like Camp!). All group programming takes place on the congregational campus on Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday morning. Outside security is onsite at all times while the teens are onsite at the congregation.
